Meadhbh is from Clonakilty in West Cork and moved to Limerick in 2019 to undertake her Bachelor studies in Pharmaceutical and Industrial Chemistry at University of Limerick (UL). During her third year of this undergraduate degree, she completed an eight-month industry placement in the Small Molecules Technical Services/Manufacturing Sciences Lab in Eli Lilly Kinsale. She returned to UL after this placement to complete her bachelor’s degree. After graduation, she returned to Eli Lilly Kinsale to work as Laboratory Technician in the Small Molecules TSMS laboratory for one year (Aug 2023 – Sept 2024). Meadhbh joined the DJJ Group in September 2024 to pursue a Masters by research.
