Biography
Lauren undertook her undergraduate studies in the Chemistry of Pharmaceutical Compounds in University College Cork (BSc, UCC), during which time she completed a five-month placement with the Materials Science team at Thermo Fisher Scientific during the third year of her studies. After her graduation from UCC she worked with Eurofins Food Testing, Ireland in the Chromatography team. She joined the DJJ group in October 2025 as an Research Ireland EPS-funded PhD student in partnership with Eli Lilly, Kinsale.
